We went out to market in October and <br />November for our healthcare coverage. Medical Mutual came in with the best proposal with an <br />increase of about 7.5% and then further reduced that down to about 3 3/4%. That is what this <br />legislation is for. - <br />Council President Saponaro stated, very good. Ordinance No. 2018-34, entitled, "An Emergency Ordinance <br />authorizing and directing the Mayor and President of Council to enter into an Economic <br />Development Incentive Grant Agreement between the Mayfield Community <br />Improvement Corporation, Mayfield Village, Ohio, and PreEmptive Solutions LLC:" <br />Introduced by Mayor Bodnar. (Finance Department) <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. . <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All . Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None - Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2018-34. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? <br />Mr. Wynne replied, this Agreement will go into effect on January 1, 2019. The first payment on <br />the grant will not take place until April 2020. It will be a 30% income tax rebate based upon <br />income tax dollars we collect from them during the year provided they meet certain thresholds <br />that are set in the Agreement. <br />Council President Saponaro stated, very good.
