7
L
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, January 29, 2018
Page 23
Chief Carcioppolo stated, Ms. Tweed came up to me before Council and wanted to advise me
that she knew that some of these monitors were on recall. I checked the website and she was
going to e-mail me something. I don't think any of these units would be affected because they
are built after the date on the FDA's website. I want to thank her for reading it and paying
attention to that level and offering her assistance.
Council President Saponaro stated, thank you. Any other comments or questions?
Dr. Parker stated, it is nice to see they gave us a discount based on our old defibrillators.
Chief Carcioppolo stated, I am surprised they gave us anything for the AED's because they are
so old. I was in e-mail discussions with the vendor since December to get those prices so it took
until this last week to get them back.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Expenditure Approved
Motion to authorize expenditure in an amount not to exceed $7,600 to Ohio Fire
Chief's Association for Fire Lieutenant Promotional Examination and Assessment.
(Fire Department)
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to authorize expenditure in an amount
not to exceed $7,600 to Ohio Fire Chief's Association for Fire Lieutenant Promotional
Examination and Assessment.
