Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, February 19, 2018
Page 19

Motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $6,545.00 to E&C
Communications for station alerting system. (Fire Department)
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount
of $6,545.00 to B&C Communications for station alerting system. (Fire Department)
Council President Saponaro asked, what is the difference on this one again? Just so we are
clarified.
Chief Carcioppolo replied, the other $49,000 was what was on the National Term Contract
Pricing. These are the items that could not be included on that. Because B&C is doing the other
project, it did not make sense to have another agency come in and say we are going to give you
this because B&C is installing the rest of the stuff. That's why they are 2 separate things. The
$49,000 has to be a separate p.o. in that amount to be able to qualify.
Council President Saponaro stated, okay. Very good. Any other questions?
There were none.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Expenditure Approved
Motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $12,622.50 to Stryker Medical for
annual maintenance and inspection of patient cots, loading systems and stair chairs.
(2018 - $4,207.50; 2019 - $4,207.50; 2020 - $4,207.50) (Fire Department)
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount
of $12,622.50 to Stryker Medica.l for annual maintenance and inspection of patient cots, loading
systems and stair chairs.
