MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village. Civic Hall - Mayfield Village Reserve Hall <br />Monday, May 7, 2018 Immediately following Caucus at 7:00 p.m. <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Monday, May 7, 2018, at Mayfield <br />Village Reserve Hall immediately following Caucus. Council President Saponaro called the <br />meeting to order at 7:3 5 p.m. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: _ Mr. Marquardt, Mr, Meyers, Mrs. Mills, . <br />Mr. Schutt, Mr. Saponaro and Mr.:Williams <br />Also Present: Mayor Bodnar, Mr. Budzick, Mr. Cappello, <br />Chief Carcioppolo, Chief Edelman, Mr.1Vlarrelli, <br />Mr. Metzung, Ms. Echt,lVls. Wolgamuth <br />and Mrs. Betsa <br />Absent: Dr. Parker and Mr. Wynne <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />• First Reading of Resolution No. 2018-19, entitled, "An Emergency Resolution <br />authorizing entering into a contract with the Ohio Department of Transportation for its <br />- 2018-2019 salt participation program." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar and Council as a <br />Whole (Service Department) . <br />Mrs. IVlills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded. by IVIr. Marquardt, made a motion to enact Resolution No. 2018-19. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? This is, the salt program we need to get <br />approved in order for the pricing to take effect. <br />Mr. Metzizng added; to use ODOT's (Ohio Department of Transpoztation) program. This is <br />-the method we have used now for probably 7 or 8 years. There was a time when we went <br />with a differenf group to purchase salt. This is by far our.best method at this point. <br />Council President Saponaro stated, okay. And this is what is required for participation. <br />Does anyoiie have any questions regarding this? ?
