It's a
. rezoning measure. I would recommend Council give consideration to tabling for Third Reading
at this time. It's only because scheduling of the public hearing is currently set for June 4th. It
would be. appropriate that the Third Reading of this rezoning measure occur after the public
meeting. I-would recommend that the Third Reading not take place until June 18t'. If you have_
any questions, I would be happy to answer them:
Dr. Parker asked, is this the formal introduction or do we need a motion?
. Motion to table Ordinance No. 2017-18 until after the public hearing.
Dr. Parker raised a motion to table Ordinance No. 2018=17 until after the public hearing.
Mayor Bodnar asked, if we table it until Juiie 18t", would that leave enough time to go through
the County and get it on the ballot?
Mr. Coyne stated, I believe we have already.done the calculations that. That is correct: For the
record, the submission date for the Board of Elections is August 8t". The action taken at the
meeting of June 18t1i would give the Clerk ample time to get it down to the Board of Elections to
be certified and then the election would take place on November 6"'.
Mayor Bodnar stated, thank you. .
Council President Pio Tem Williams stated, tlieie's a motion on the floor.
