DEPARTIVIENT HEAD I2EP012TS: Mary Betsa (Council) - I received a second reminder from the Northeast Ohio City Council Association for the Thursday, March 21St Workforce Development on Education, Equity and Transportation seminar. Please let me know if you wish to attend. . Records Commission - The Commission will be meeting on Tuesday, May 7th at 12:00. A reminder that Shred Day is Saturday, May 18'n Also, from February 28t' to March l lth, I will be out of the country. I will not have phone or e- mail access. If there are any Council questions, please contact Jeff Thomas and if there are any Finance questions, please contact Ron Wynne. Chief Carcioppolo (Fire) - I just wanted to let everyone know that tlie Civil Service Commission met and certified the results of the Assistant Chief's test. We should be working on interviewing and hopefully have a selection for Assistant Chief Girbino's replacement soon. Council President Saponaro asked, when is he scheduled to retire? Chief Carcioppolo replied, end of May. Council President Saponaro asked, and how many candidates will you be interviewing? Chief Carcioppolo replied, there is a certified list of 6. Council President Saponaro asked, that doesn't mean you will be interviewing all of them, but you have 6 possible candidates? Chief Carcioppolo replied, correct. Council President Saponaro stated, okay. Very good. Chief Carcioppolo stated, and then, as of now, we are 28 calls ahead of where we were last year on the same date. The increase in calls is continuing. ? ?
