Introduced by Mayor Bodnar. (First Reading — February 25, 2019; Second Reading — March 18, 2019) (Law Department) Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2019-08. Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? Mr. Coyne stated, this legislation makes it a primary offense for texting or using electronic wireless communication devices while driving. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Enacted • Third Reading of Ordinance No. 2019-09, entitled, "An Ordinance repealing and replacing Codified Ordinance Chapter 1185 relating to signs regulations." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar. (First Reading — February 25, 2019; Second Reading — March 18, 2019) (Law Department) Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2019-09. Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? Mr. Coyne stated, if there are any questions, I would be happy to answer them. Section 1185.08(f)(4) was amended to read such signs shall be located as close to the center of the property as measured by the front footage, but in no event less than 10 feet from the property line. Mr. Marrelli stated, we talked about how to measure that on the streets. Section (f)(1) was revised to stated that such signs shall be located not less than 10 feet from the roadway surface.
