Minutes of the Special Meeting of Council Monday, May 6, 2019 Page 7 to three weeks it is going to be busy. There's going to be a lot of work being done on the road. We are milling it. We are paving the shoulder. We are widening the road by paving the shoulders. We are going to be doing paving repairs. It's going to take a little while. It's a mile and a quarter long. What's going to happen is somebody's going to go, they are not doing any work here. Well they are doing plenty of work down the road. The sidewalks are going to take some work. The aprons have to be done. They are softening the curve between Village Trails and Echo. That's where we are going to be actually widening the road. Council President Saponaro stated, I guess my suggestion would be when you look at the project and you say the road's going to be closed for 75 days, you may be cutting people off from the Village and they will be like, forget it, I'm not going to be here at all. Because it's not 100% accurate. It is if you want to just close it, but we don't really need to close it for these parts of the project, we really need to close it for this part of the project. I know that that doesn't make it easier, it's more work. I understand that. But if there was a way to do it, it helps our businesses. It sends a better message than hey, for the whole summer you are basically going to be closed. Mr. Cappello stated, I will look into it. Council President Saponaro stated, we appreciate that. We don't want our businesses to suffer at all. Any other questions or comments? There was none.
