Introduced by Mayor Bodnar.
(Finance Department)
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2019-44.
Council President Saponaro asked, discussion?
Mr. Wynne stated, I mentioned at Caucus that the actual renewal was $112,755 which is a 2.4%
increase over the prior year's renewal. The reason we asked for $117,000 is that over the next 12
months we will be getting new vehicles. As we do that, we need to pay the premiums for those.
In the same vein, when we add a new vehicle, we sell the old one. We will get the receipts in for
the cancellation of the premium on those vehicles. This is just to have enough to cover us until
the renewal time next year if anything is new that is added throughout the year.
Council President Saponaro asked, any .questions or other discussion points?
There were none.
ROLL CALL: AYES: .All
NAYS: All
Motion Carried
Resolution Adopted
• Resolution No. 2019-45, entitled, "An emergency resolution authorizing Mayfield
Village to expend funds to Motorola, Inc. in the amount of $192,291.59 for new radio
equipment and B&C Communications in the amount of $5,735.00 for installation of the
new radio equipment for the Mayfield Village Fire Department. That is offset by the trade-in of our car radios for $20,500 which will net
to the $192,291.59 that Council is approving.
Council President Saponaro stated, thank you for the clarification. Any other questions or
discussion?
There was none.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried
NAYS: None Resolution Adopted
