Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, September 23, 2019
Page 10
Motion to authorize an expenditure in an amount not to exceed $7,000 to PM
Graphics to provide printing and mailing services for the 2019-2020 Fall/Winter
Program Guide which features all the programs and special events in the Mayfield
School District. (Cost shared with Mayfield Heights) (Parks and Recreation)
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in an amount
not to exceed $7,000 to PM Graphics to provide printing and mailing services for the 2019-2020
Fall/Winter Program Guide which features all the programs and special events in the Mayfield
School District. (Cost shared with Mayfield Heights) (Parks and Recreation)
Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? Are those costs shared equally?
Mr. McAvinew replied, there is a precise formula out there where we share it based upon
programming and how many pages are used in the brochure. Mayfield Village uses a lot more
pages so we have a higher share cost, but we also partner with the schools to get a better mailing
rate. We also get advertisement for that brochure. I think this year we had around $3,500 that
went back, $1,750 for Mayfield Village, $1,750 for Mayfield Heights that goes back to help
subsidize the cost.
Council President Saponaro stated, great. Thank you. Any other questions?
There were none.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried
NAYS: None Expenditure Authorized
Motion to authorize an expenditure in an amount of $8,435 to City of Mayfield
Heights for Co -Op Teen Camp (pass through) (Parks and Recreation)
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in an amount
of $8,435 to City of Mayfield Heights for Co -Op Teen Camp (pass through) (Parks and
Recreation)
Council President Saponaro asked, discussion?
There was none.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried
NAYS: None Expenditure Authorized
