Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council Monday, March 16, 2020 Page 4 concerning the health, safety and welfare of this community. The emergency legislation will remain in effect only through the current state of emergency. What I am reporting to you is a brief summary of what is going on here and throughout Ohio. Rest assured that we are all working hard and working together to reach the best possible result. All hands are on deck at every level of government. We will continue to keep you informed. Comments from Council President Schutt I just wanted to reiterate what Mayor Bodnar said about the processes that have been put in place by all of the Department Heads in conjunction with the Mayor. Everybody mentions about all of the amenities that we have available in Mayfield Village. The reason why we have those amenities is because of all of the Department Heads that make all of that happen. So, I just wanted to thank all of you for looking out for the best interests of all of the people that report up through your organizations as well as having the best interest of our citizens as well as the people that work here on a daily basis. So, thank all of you for putting all of that hard work together to put these procedures together to make sure that we have everybody as safe as we possibly can. We have never really experienced anything of this nature. It's kind of new to everybody. Thank you for all that you have done. As Mayor Bodnar also mentioned, I believe there has been a ruling and voting has been cancelled until tentatively June 2°d The Town Hall with State Representative Phil Robinson and Caucus scheduled for April 6v' has been cancelled. Thanks again everybody for all your hard work. I appreciate it. One other thing, thank you to the 3 people we have in the audience as well for coming out today. Although you may not need our help, I just wanted to mention, you have the 7 people of Council here as well that are here to provide whatever support we possibly can to our residents. They can reach out to any of us for anything that they may need. We will help in any way that we possibly can. If we can do something on an individual basis, please reach out to your Council members. Although we may be limited at times and hopefully we will not have a lot of illness with our employees, but I know that we can also lean on our departments within Mayfield Village as well. They will do the best that they can, obviously serving the Village's needs first, but to help with residents as well depending upon how long this goes. Thanks again.
