Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council Monday, November 16, 2020 Page 3 Mr. DeBaggis replied, yes, I am, your Honor. Can you hear me? Mayor Bodnar stated, I can hear you — and now I can see you. Council President, I believe Council is going to begin with a Motion. Motion to approve selection of Henry F. DeBaggis to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission for term ending December 31, 2023. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to approve selection of Henry F. DeBaggis to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission for term ending December 31, 2023. Council President Schutt asked, discussion? Mayor Bodnar stated, yes, I would just like to say that Henry already serves us very well as Chairman of our Civil Service Commission. Henry, I am very grateful to you for also taking on this additional responsibility to serve on our Planning and Zoning Commission. I appreciate that very much. You have given wonderful service to Mayfield Village and we are very grateful to have you. Mr. DeBaggis stated, well, thank you Mayor. I appreciate the appointment. Council President Schutt asked, any other comments? There were none. ROLL CALL: AYES: NAYS: All None Motion Carried Selection Approved Mayor Bodnar stated, so Henry, this is the first remote Oath of Office I have administered. If you would raise your right hand and please repeat after me. The Oath of Office was administered to Mr. DeBaggis by Mayor Bodnar. Mayor Bodnar stated, congratulations Henry and welcome aboard. You know that you are taking the position of Jim Farmer who has resigned and you have big shoes to fill. But I have no doubt that you can do the job well. I also want to offer my thanks to Jim for all of the great service he has given us from Mayfield Village. Henry, Mary Beth will work with you to get you some paperwork to sign. You are ready to go.
