RESOLUTION NO. 2020-61 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING MAYFIELD VILLAGE TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT <br />WITH CITY WIDE MAINTENANCE OF CLEVELAND FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES <br />FOR THE MAYFIELD VILLAGE POLICE STATION <br />IN THE AMOUNTOF $995.00 PER MONTH ($11,940 ANNUALLY) <br />WHEREAS, based upon recommendation, it has been deemed in the best interest of the <br />health, safety and welfare of all Village residents and inhabitants to engage a professional company <br />in order to provide cleaning services for the Mayfield Village Police Station; and <br />WHEREAS, the Janitorial Services Agreement with the cleaning company previously <br />serving the Police Station has been terminated; and <br />WHEREAS, a request for proposals was sent and several companies responded with <br />proposals; and <br />WHEREAS, the Chief of Police and the Mayfield Village Administration have reviewed <br />the proposals and recommend that Council approve and accept the proposal of City Wide <br />Maintenance of Cleveland in the amount of $995.00 per month ($11,940.00 annually). <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Council of Mayfield Village hereby accepts and approves the proposal <br />of City Wide Maintenance of Cleveland in the amount of $995.00 per month ($11,940.00 <br />annually). <br />SECTION 2. The Council of Mayfield Village does hereby direct the Mayor and President <br />of Council to enter into a contract with City Wide Maintenance of Cleveland for janitorial services <br />for the Mayfield Village Police Station, attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meeting of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place <br />in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />11 <br />
