RESOLUTION NO. 2020-61 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYFIELD VILLAGE TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH CITY WIDE MAINTENANCE OF CLEVELAND FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR THE MAYFIELD VILLAGE POLICE STATION IN THE AMOUNTOF $995.00 PER MONTH ($11,940 ANNUALLY) WHEREAS, based upon recommendation, it has been deemed in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of all Village residents and inhabitants to engage a professional company in order to provide cleaning services for the Mayfield Village Police Station; and WHEREAS, the Janitorial Services Agreement with the cleaning company previously serving the Police Station has been terminated; and WHEREAS, a request for proposals was sent and several companies responded with proposals; and WHEREAS, the Chief of Police and the Mayfield Village Administration have reviewed the proposals and recommend that Council approve and accept the proposal of City Wide Maintenance of Cleveland in the amount of $995.00 per month ($11,940.00 annually). BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Council of Mayfield Village hereby accepts and approves the proposal of City Wide Maintenance of Cleveland in the amount of $995.00 per month ($11,940.00 annually). SECTION 2. The Council of Mayfield Village does hereby direct the Mayor and President of Council to enter into a contract with City Wide Maintenance of Cleveland for janitorial services for the Mayfield Village Police Station, attached hereto as Exhibit A. SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meeting of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. 11
