RESOLUTION NO. 2020-31 PAGE 2 (3) Provide any information related to any payments received under H.B. 481 to the Director of the Ohio Office of Budget and Management as requested. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. In compliance with House Bill 481, the Council of Mayfield Village hereby affirms that the funds from the Coronavirus Relief Distribution Fund may be expended only to cover costs consistent with the requirements of Section 5001 of the CARES Act as described in 42 U.S.C. 601(d), and any applicable regulations before receiving said funds. SECTION 2. The Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed immediately to forward a copy of this Resolution to the Cuyahoga County Budget Commission. SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meeting of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 4. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, in order for Mayfield Village to receive CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Funding. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon the passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to Council and approved by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by law.
