Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, December 20, 2021 <br />Page 16 <br />• First Reading of Resolution No. 2021-52, entitled, "An emergency resolution providing <br />for the reappointment of A&S Animal Control, Inc. as the Animal Warden for Mayfield <br />Village Ohio and authorizing the Mayor and Council President to enter into an Animal <br />Warden Services Agreement with A&S Animal Control, Inc." Introduced by Mayor <br />Bodnar (Administration). <br />Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mr. Meyers, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mr. Meyers, made a motion to enact Resolution No. 2021-52. <br />Council President Schutt asked, discussion? <br />Mr. Murphy asked, did these fees increase? I think that was still outstanding at our Caucus <br />meeting. <br />Mr. Wynne replied, at the end of the contract that we are currently under, the retainer <br />increased by $85 a month but the structure hasn't changed with the way he services the <br />homes. At the end it will end up saving us money. How much it's hard to say until we <br />determine the usage through the year but instead of paying on a per visit basis, it will be on <br />a per home basis for a full week. <br />Council President Schutt asked, any other questions or discussion? <br />There was none. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />Council President Schutt asked, are there any other matters to come before Council at this time? <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Mr. Marquardt, seconded by Mr. Meyers, made a motion to adjourn. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Meeting Adjourned <br />
