MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL Monday, August 2, 2021 — Immediately Preceding Caucus (7:00 p.m.) 6622 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Monday, August 2, 2021 immediately following Caucus at 7:00 p.m. at Mayfield Village Civic Hall. Council President Schutt called the meeting to order at 7:20 p.m. ROLL CALL: Present: Mrs. Jurcisek, Mr. Marquardt, Mr. Meyers, Mrs. Mills, Mr. Murphy, Mr. Schutt and Mr. Williams Also Present: Mayor Bodnar, Mr. Coyne, Mr. Wynne, Mr. Cappello, Chief Carcioppolo, Chief Matias, Mr. Russell, Mr. Sipos, Mr. Marquart, Mr. McAvinew, Ms. Wolgamuth and Mrs. Garbo Absent: None The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. • Open Portion 5 -minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state their name and address. (The public is requested to limit their discussion to agenda item only.) There were no comments. • First Reading of Ordinance No. 2021-10, entitled, "An ordinance enacting Mayfield Village Codified Ordinance Chapter 317 Officer -Operated Handheld Traffic Law Enforcement Devices." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole. (Police Department) Ordinance No. 2021-10 was not read into the record. Mr. Coyne stated, as I stated earlier, the First Reading of Ordinance 2021-10 is being withdrawn from tonight's meeting. It does not count as a reading for tonight. • Resolution No. 2021-25, entitled, "An emergency resolution authorizing Mayfield Village to enter into the contract agreement with Chagrin River Watershed Partners, Inc. for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative: planting trees to reduce runoff project."
