NJ <br />[A <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021-20 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />ADOPTING THE ALTERNATIVE TAX BUDGET <br />INFORMATION FOR MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO <br />FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2022 <br />WHEREAS, a proposed 2022 Tax Budget for Mayfield Village has heretofore been <br />prepared in the revised alternative format as provided by the Cuyahoga County Budget <br />Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed tax budget for Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the year 2022 has <br />been prepared by the Director of Finance in the form prescribed by law and in compliance with <br />the provisions of Sections 5705.04, 5705.28 and 5705.281 of the Ohio Revised Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council deems it necessary to adopt the said budget and to submit the <br />same to the Cuyahoga County Budget Commission, as required by law. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The tax budget of Mayfield Village, Ohio, showing anticipated receipts and <br />expenditures of the Village for the year 2022, a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit <br />"A" and incorporated herein as if fully rewritten, be the same and is hereby approved and <br />adopted, pursuant to Section 5705.28 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 2. That the tax budget of Mayfield Village for the fiscal year 2022 has been <br />placed on file with the Clerk of Council. <br />SECTION 3. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to submit the said <br />budget to the Office of the Cuyahoga County Budget Commission before July 20, 2021. <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took <br />place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />
