I <br />J <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021-34 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING <br />THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />TO ENTER INTO A NEW LEASE AGREEMENT WITH <br />CHRISTA OLIVO FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONTINUING TO LEASE THE <br />REAL ESTATE LOCATED AT <br />6536 WILSON MILLS ROAD, MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO 44143. <br />WHEREAS, the Village is the owner of residential real estate located at 6536 Wilson <br />Mills Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio 44143; and <br />WHEREAS, on November 1, 2010 and November 1, 2017, Mayfield Village entered <br />into Lease Agreements with Christa Olivo for the residential use of this property, serving as <br />a public necessity and convenience; and <br />WHEREAS, on August 31, 2021, Christa Olivo was advised that the monthly rental <br />amount will be increased by approximately 12% to $675 effective November 1, 2021; and <br />WHEREAS, a new Lease Agreement has been prepared reflecting the monthly rental <br />increase and will be maintained by the Director of Finance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor and President of Council are authorized and directed to <br />enter into such new Lease Agreement between Christa Olivo and the Village of Mayfield <br />pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in the Lease which is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; <br />and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, <br />took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />'�+' becoming effective immediately in order that the tenants may continue to occupy the <br />
