Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, March 21, 2022
Page 10
There was none.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried
NAYS: None Resolution Adopted
Council President Schutt stated, Resolution 2022-15 passes.
• First Reading of Resolution 2022-16, entitled, "An emergency resolution authorizing the
Mayor and President of Council to enter into a contract with Montrose Auto Group for the
purchase of two (2) 2022 Ford Explorers in the total amount of $57,654.00 through the
State of Ohio's Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Cooperative Purchasing
Program." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar (Administration)
Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council
requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasions.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Rules Suspended
Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mr. Meyers, made a motion to enact Resolution No. 2022-16.
Council President Schutt asked, discussion?
Mr. Wynne stated, just for the record, as I mentioned in the memo to Council, we had two
vehicles we have had slotted for replacement since 2019; one in the Service Department and
then one in the Parks and Recreation Department. The Service Department still has their
vehicle but it's been band aided together for the past few years. The one for the Recreation
Department got bad enough that Council approved the sale of it last year and we disposed of
it last year, so they are without a vehicle. These two vehicles purchased will go the Building
Commissioner and Service Director and their two vehicles in turn will be passed down; one
for the Recreation Department and one for the Service Department to replace the other
vehicle which we will sell once these come in. On this purchase, Ford is quoting 30 plus
weeks on all of their deliveries so that's why I wanted to get this on and approved as soon
as possible so that we can get the order placed and get the calendar running.
Council President Schutt asked, any questions or comments for Mr. Wynne?
There were none.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Resolution Adopted
Council President Schutt stated, Resolution No. 2022-16 passes.
