Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />December 19,-2022 <br />Page 6 <br />Comments From Council President Schutt <br />Council President Schutt stated, the 2023 calendar has been established for Council's approval at <br />this evening's meeting. Copies are also available on the website and at the back table. Due to the <br />holiday schedule, the Organizational Meeting of Council is scheduled for Monday, January 9th at <br />6:30 p.m. prior to Caucus. The Regular Meeting of Council is scheduled for Monday, January <br />23. <br />I want to wish everyone a very Happy Holidays as well. Happy Hannukah, Merry Christmas, <br />Happy New Year. Hopefully you will get to spend time with your family and friends and stay <br />safe during the holiday season. I also wanted to thank all of the Department Heads and Directors <br />and Chief, Council, Mayor, Law Director. I know we didn't always see eye to eye on everything <br />this year and that's not our job to just be bobbleheads and nod and say yes all the time. We <br />worked through some things that were a little bit challenging this year. It shows how well <br />everyone is able to work together even though we don't always see eye to eye. I just wanted to <br />say thank you for all your hard work and putting forth what you felt was best for Mayfield <br />Village even though we didn't always agree. That's part of life. You are not always going to <br />agree. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all your hard work and moving forward <br />with what you felt was best. Thank you. Hopefully we can continue on with a strong Council as <br />well as with all the leaders within the different departments for Mayfield Village. Thank you <br />everybody for all your hard work as well. That's the end of my report. <br />Open Portion — For Public Comment (5 -minute limit) <br />Council President Schutt stated, if anyone wishes to speak, please come up to the podium and <br />state your name and address for the record. <br />There were no comments. <br />Department Head Reports: <br />Diane Wolgamuth (Administration) — Mrs. Betsa stated, in the absence of Diane Wolgamuth, <br />she asked that I please report that Citizen's Advisory met on November 28tH. Chief Matias <br />attended to provide information about CivicReady, the Village's new emergency notification <br />system. The Committee does not meet in December. Their next meeting is scheduled for <br />Monday, January 301H <br />Council President Schutt asked, any questions for Mrs. Betsa? <br />There were none. <br />IL Council President Schutt stated, thank you, Mrs. Betsa. <br />
