Ch. 155 <br />147.01 CREATION. <br />There is hereby established a Commission on Aging which shall be constituted and have such <br />powers and duties as may be prescribed from time -to -time by the Mayor and Council. <br />(Ord. 82-30. Passed 5-3-82.) <br />147.02 MEMBERSHIP, TERM AND VACANCY. <br />(a) Membership. The Commission on Aging shall consist of five seven voting members who <br />shall be appointed as follows: <br />(1) The Mayor shall appoint one resident of the Municipality who shall be sixty years of <br />age or older and who shall be a voting member of the Commission; <br />(2) Council, by majority vote, shall appoint four residents of the Municipality who shall be <br />sixty years of age or older, all of whom shall be voting members of the Commission; <br />(3) (EDITOR'S NOTE: This subsection was repealed by Ordinance 87-11, passed May 18, <br />1987.) <br />(4) The Council President shall appoint one member of Council to serve as a nonvoting <br />member of the Commission.
