RESOLUTION NO. 2022-27 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYFIELD VILLAGE TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH ROBERT MYERS AND AL STAGE LIGHTING, LLC FOR SUMMER 2022 SOUND AND LIGHT PRODUCTION IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,375.00 WHEREAS, based upon recommendation, it has been deemed in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of all Village residents and inhabitants to engage a professional company provide special event sound production, including sound and light equipment rental and a sound technician for the 2022 summer season at The Grove, the gazebo, and for other special events as needed in Mayfield Village; and WHEREAS, the company previously selected and approved by Council under Resolution No. 2022-17 to perform these services is no longer able to do so; and WHEREAS, additional quotes were sought and received and Robert Myers and AL Stage Lighting, LLC submitted a proposal in the amount of $12,375.00; and WHEREAS, the Mayfield Village Parks and Recreation Director reviewed the quotes and recommends that the Village Council approve and accept the proposal of Robert Myers and AL Stage Lighting, LLC in the amount of $12,375.00. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Council of Mayfield Village hereby accepts and approves the proposal of Robert Myers and AL Stage Lighting, LLC in the amount of $12,375.00. SECTION 2. The Council of Mayfield Village does hereby direct the Mayor and President of Council to enter into contract with Robert Myers and AL Stage Lighting, LLC for summer and special event sound production services during the summer of 2022, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A". SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council, and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including sw requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
