RESOLUTION NO. 2022-36 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYFIELD VILLAGE TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL OF PAT FLOWERS, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $40,076.82 FOR THE 2022 STREET STRIPING PROGRAM WHEREAS, based upon the recommendation of the Mayfield Village Engineer, it has been deemed in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of all Village residents and inhabitants to undertake the 2022 Street Striping Program in the Village; and WHEREAS, proposals for the 2022 Street Striping Program were solicited by the Mayfield Village Engineer; and and WHEREAS, although two (2) proposals were sought only one (1) proposal was received; WHEREAS, said proposal was in the amount of $40,076.82; and WHEREAS, the Village Engineer recommends that the Mayfield Village Council approve and accept the aforementioned proposal for said project. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Council of Mayfield Village hereby accepts and approves the proposal of Pat Flowers, Inc. in the amount of $40,076.82 for the 2022 Street Striping Program in Mayfield Village. SECTION 2. The Council of Mayfield Village does hereby direct the Mayor and President of Council to enter into a contract with Pat Flowers, Inc. for the 2022 Street Striping Program in the Village. SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including ILI requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
