J RESOLUTION NO. 2023-23 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN EXPENDITURE IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $15,465.00 TO S.A. COMUNALE FIRE PROTECTION CONTRACTORS FOR 2023 MAINTENANCE OF VILLAGE FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS WHEREAS, Mayfield Village is required to provide 5 year maintenance for various components of the fire suppression systems in Mayfield Village; and WHEREAS, the Mayfield Village Fire Chief requested proposals for maintenance of various components of the fire suppression systems in Mayfield Village; and WHEREAS, S.A. Comunale Fire Protection Contractors provided a proposal in the amount of $15,465.00 for the maintenance of various components of the fire suppression systems in Mayfield Village; and WHEREAS, the Mayfield Village Fire Chief reviewed the proposal of S.A. Comunale Fire Protection Contractors and recommends that the Village approve an expenditure in an amount not to exceed $15,465.00 for the maintenance of various components of the fire suppression systems in Mayfield Village and accept the proposal of S.A. Comunale Fire Protection Contractors. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Council of Mayfield Village does hereby accept the proposal and approve an expenditure not to exceed $15,465.00 to S.A. Comunale Fire Protection Contractors for the 2023 maintenance of various components of the fire suppression systems in Mayfield Village. SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council, and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
