(Finance Department)
Mrs. Jurcisek, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to acknowledge receipt of financial
reports for February 2023 and to approve of same as submitted. (Finance Department)
Council President Schutt asked, discussion?
Mr. Wynne stated, just a brief comment. There's been a lot of discussion in the news over the past
week about a couple U.S. banks that were closed and also one international bank that's having
financial difficulty. I just wanted to mention that from our investment standpoint, we had no
money with either of those banks. Also, per the Ohio Revised Code, all of our investments either
have to be at or below the F.D.I.C. insured limit or U.S. government backed securities so we are
never at risk of any loss in our investment portfolio as a result of something like this happening.
Council President Schutt stated, thank you Mr. Wynne. Any discussion or questions?
