Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, August 21, 2023
Page 17
this entire project. If you have videos or photographs we can include instructions on how to upload
those. Citizen's Advisory is not meeting over the summer. Their next meeting is Tuesday,
September 261". I also wanted to mention that with regard to the microphones, we test them every
time we are having a Council meeting. They work great. Then we have the Council meeting and
they are cutting out. Our IT specialist Mr. Thomas said make sure that you turn your button on
when you are speaking and turn them off when you stop speaking. They are wireless and they are
always looking for a signal. I think that's why they cut out. They also think our cellphones hanging
around probably interferes some too. Just keep that in mind. Also, a reminder that our Volunteer
Appreciation Event is this Friday evening at 6:00 at Parkview Pool. If it rains and I am not saying
it will, but if it does, it will be in this room instead. We will be scrambling to get word out about
that. That's all I have. Thank you.
Council President Schutt stated, thank you, Ms. Wolgamuth.
Daniel Russell (Building Department) — Thank you, Council President. I have two items to
report. Planning and Zoning was held on August 71". There was only application on the docket.
That application was approved with zoning approval. ARB met on August 10`". We received three
applications. All three were unanimously approved. That's all I have.
Council President Schutt stated, thank you, Mr. Russell
OLD BUSINESS
• Third Reading of Resolution No 2023-42 (Amended), entitled, ``An emergency
resolution declaring it necessary to improve the Aintree Park, Aintree North and
Sandalwood neighborhoods by replacing damaged, cracked and uneven sidewalk blocks
where necessary, all together with any necessary appurtenances thereto by the owners of
the lots or land abutting thereon." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar. (Administration). (First
Reading — June 19, 2023; Second Reading- July 24, 2023) (Amended 8/21/23)
Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mrs. Jurcisek, made a motion to approve Resolution No. 2023-42.
Council President Schutt asked, discussion?
Ms. Calta stated, just a couple of things. This is the third read for this legislation. We amended it
to include the list of sidewalks to be assessed. The homeowners were given some time to bring in
payment. We have some that have trickled in since the legislation was amended. We had another
one that came in late Friday and another one that came in today. Mary Beth, if you can take off
the exhibit 6808 Wildwood and 6877 Deepwood. Because this was amended after the second
reading, we also need a motion to suspend.
