MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO <br />Tuesday, September 5, 2023 — 7:00 p.m. <br />Immediately Following Caucus <br />Mayfield Village Civic Hall -Mayfield Village Civic Center <br />6622 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at <br />Mayfield Village Civic Hall immediately following Caucus. Council President Schutt called the <br />meeting to order at 7:13 p.m. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Arndt, Mrs. Jurcisek, Mr. Marquardt, <br />Mr. Murphy, Mr. Schutt and Mr. Williams <br />Also Present: Mayor Bodnar, Mr. Wynne, Ms. Calta, Mr. Cappello, <br />Chief Carcioppolo, Chief Matias, Mr. Russell, <br />Mr. McAvinew, Mr. Tierney, Mr. Marquart, <br />Ms. Wolgamuth and Mrs. Betsa <br />Absent: Mr. Meyers <br />Council President Schutt stated, let the record show that Mr. Meyers is excused from this evening's <br />meeting. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the flag was given. <br />• First Readinc of Ordinance No. 2023-11, entitled, "An emergency <br />ordinance assessing the costs for the boarding of an unclaimed animal." <br />Introduced by Mayor Bodnar. (Finance Department) <br />Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mrs. Jurcisek, made a motion to suspend Ordinance No. 2023-11. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Suspended <br />Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mrs. Jurcisek, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2023-11. <br />Council President Schutt asked, discussion? <br />Mr. Wynne stated, when we submit an assessment to the County for anything, whether it's a <br />sewer assessment or street lighting, there needs to be approved legislation that authorizes <br />that assessment for that particular parcel number or parcel numbers.
