Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, November 20, 2023 <br />Page 6 <br />There were none. <br />Council President Schutt stated, Resolution 2023-60 will move to Third Read at the Regular <br />Meeting of Council on December 18tn <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />• First Reading of Ordinance 2023-15, entitled, "An emergency ordinance amending <br />Chapter 176 of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio regarding municipal <br />income tax." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar. (Finance Department) <br />Council President Schutt asked, any questions or comments? <br />Ms. Calta stated, we will be asking to do two reads on this legislation. It has to be passed in <br />December so that it is effective as of January 1, 2024. <br />Council President Schutt asked, any other questions or comments? <br />There were none. <br />Council President Schutt stated, Ordinance 2023-15 will move to Second Read at the Regular <br />Meeting of Council on December 18tn <br />• First Reading of Resolution No. 2023-62, entitled, "An emergency resolution authorizing <br />and directing the Mayor to trade in several weapons in the possession of the Police <br />Department to Atwell's Police and Fire Equipment Co. for a credit toward the purchase of <br />new duty pistols and authorizing the purchase of new duty pistols from Atwell's Police and <br />Fire Equipment Co. for a total cost of $2,023.00." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar (Police <br />Department) <br />Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mrs. Jurcisek, made a motion to suspend Resolution No. 2023-62. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carries <br />NAYS: None Resolution Suspended <br />Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mrs. Jurcisek, made a motion to enact Resolution No. 2023-62. <br />Council President Schutt asked, any discussion? <br />There was none. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carries <br />NAYS: None Resolution Adopted <br />
