Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, November 20, 2023 <br />Page 8 <br />• Motion to accept the 2024 health care renewal received from BORMA reflecting a <br />premium increase of 14.99%; to authorize offering employees the choice in 2024 of <br />enrolling in BORMA Aetna plan options 2, 3 or 4; and to approve contributing <br />$160,000 towards the cost of the annual increase in 2024. <br />Mrs. Jurcisek, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to accept the 2024 health care renewal <br />received from BORMA reflecting a premium increase of 14.99%; to authorize offering employees <br />the choice in 2024 of enrolling in BORMA Aetna plan options 2, 3 or 4; and to approve <br />contributing $160,000 towards the cost of the annual increase in 2024. <br />Council President Schutt asked, discussion? <br />Mr. Meyers stated, I have a question. Do they have the choice of the 2, 3 or 4; is that different <br />pricing? <br />Mr. Wynne replied, the benefit levels with 2 being the highest, 4 being the lowest of the choices. <br />Mr. Meyers asked, the employee makes that choice? <br />Mr. Wynne replied, the employee makes the choice. Depending upon which one they pick, our <br />premium is lower and their contribution toward the premium is lower. <br />Mr. Meyers stated, okay. Thank you. <br />Council President Schutt asked, any other discussion? <br />There was none. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carries <br />Expenditure Approved <br />• Motion to authorize expenditure in an amount not to exceed $12,500 to SA <br />Communale to cover the cost of excavation and final repair work for the Police <br />Station Fire Department Connection. (Fire Department) <br />Mrs. Jurcisek, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to authorize expenditure in an amount <br />not to exceed $12,500 to SA Communale to cover the cost of excavation and final repair work for <br />the Police Station Fire Department Connection. (Fire Department) <br />Council President Schutt asked, discussion? <br />There was none. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carries <br />NAYS: None Expenditure Approved <br />
