ORDINANCE NO. 2023-18 <br />Page 18 <br />6) The amount of tuition reimbursed shall be limited to the amount of the then current per <br />credit hour cost charged by the institution the employee attends, not in any event to <br />exceed the rate charged by Cleveland State University at the time of the employee's <br />reimbursement request. <br />153.18 SALARIES OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL <br />a) The annual salaries of the Mayor and Council of the Municipality, until further order of <br />Council, are hereby fixed as follows: <br />Official Annual Salary <br />Mayor $50,000.00 <br />Council President $11,000.00 <br />Council Member $10,000.00 <br />b) Beginning on January 1, 2024, and annually thereafter, the Mayor, Council President and <br />each Council Member shall receive a 2.5% increase to their current Annual Salary. <br />153.19 COMPENSATION FOR MEMBERS OF PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION, <br />BOARD OF APPEALS AND ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD <br />Members of the Planning and Zoning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals and Architectural <br />Review Board will be compensated for regular meetings and workshops per the following <br />schedule: <br />Planning & Zoning Commission $50.00 per meeting or workshop <br />Board of Zoning Appeals $50.00 per meeting or workshop <br />Architectural Review Board $50.00 per meeting or workshop <br />153.20 EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION <br />a) Effective January 1, 2024, compensation ranges for employees are set forth in Exhibit 1, <br />attached hereto. <br />b) All current full-time and permanent part-time employees covered by this Ordinance, and <br />employed as of December 31, 2022, will receive a Two Thousand Dollar ($2,000.00) cash bonus <br />in lieu of a wage increase for 2023. All eligible employees covered by this Ordinance will receive <br />a three percent (3%) increase in their current base compensation effective January 1, 2024. All <br />eligible employees covered by this Ordinance will receive a three percent (3%) increase in their <br />current base compensation effective January 1, 2025. <br />
