SCOPE <br />This document has been prepared pursuant to the requirements specified in Sections <br />128.01 through 128.99 of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC) and 5507-1-01 through 5507-1- <br />19 of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC). <br />9-1-1 PLAN AND AMENDMENT APPROVAL REQUIREMENTS <br />This plan will be reviewed annually, and subsequent modifications to this plan shall be <br />signed and dated by Cuyahoga County 9-1-1 Program Review Committee members. The <br />Plan will be modified and amended as needed with respect to new information, emerging <br />technologies, accumulated experiences, or in response to legislative changes. Cuyahoga <br />County is committed to working with the local jurisdictions in pursuit of the most cost- <br />effective and efficient implementation of NG9-1-1 services within the County. <br />The 9-1-1 Program Review Committee shall, not later than April 3, 2024, file a copy of the <br />current 9-1-1 Plan with the Ohio 9-1-1 Program Office and every March thereafter. In <br />addition, any revisions or amendments to the plan must be filed no later than 90 days <br />after adoption. <br />Pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code Section 128.07, the 9-1-1 Program Review <br />Committee shall send a copy of the final plan to the County Executive, and to the <br />legislative authority of each municipal corporation in the county, and to the board of <br />township trustees of each township in the county either by certified mail or, if the <br />committee has record of an internet identifier of record associated with the board or <br />legislative authority, by ordinary mail and by that internet identifier of record. <br />A copy of the plan shall also be delivered to the board of trustees, directors, or park <br />commissioners of each subdivision that will be served by a public safety answering <br />point under the plan. <br />Additionally, pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 128.08, within sixty days after receipt of <br />the final plan as discussed above, the County Executive and the legislative authority of <br />each municipal corporation in the county and of each township whose territory is <br />proposed to be included in the countywide 9-1-1 system shall act by resolution to <br />approve or disapprove the plan. Each such authority immediately shall notify the County <br />Executive in writing of its approval or disapproval of the final plan. Failure by a board or <br />legislative authority to notify the County Executive of approval or disapproval within <br />such sixty-day period shall be deemed disapproval by the board or authority. <br />The countywide plan is deemed effective if all of the following entities approve the plan <br />in accordance with this section- <br />(1) The County Executive; <br />(2) The legislative authority of a municipal corporation that contains at least thirty per <br />cent of the county's population; <br />(3) The legislative authorities of municipal corporations and townships that contain at <br />least sixty per cent of the county's population or, if the plan has been approved by a <br />municipal corporation that contains at least sixty per cent of the county's population, by <br />
