RESOLUTION 2024-27 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />SELECTING MAYOR HOLZHEIMER-GAIL, AS THE MAYOR <br />OF THE CITY OF EUCLID IN CUYAHOGA COUNTY, <br />TO SERVE AS A MEMBER OF THE <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY 9-1-1 PROGRAM REVIEW COMMITTEE <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield, Ohio is located within the County of Cuyahoga and <br />is therefore part of the Cuyahoga County's 9-1-1 service network; and <br />WHEREAS, Cuyahoga County convenes a 9-1-1 Program Review Committee in <br />accordance with Ohio Revised Code, Section 128.06(B); and <br />WHEREAS, Ohio Revised Code, Section 128.06(B)(4) specifies that all municipal <br />corporations within Cuyahoga County are entitled to one vote as to the chief executive officer of <br />one municipal corporation, who shall represent on the 9-1-1 Program Review Committee all chief <br />executive officers, of all municipal corporations, within Cuyahoga County; and <br />WHEREAS, said chief executive officer representative shall be selected by the majority of <br />the legislative authorities of municipal corporations in Cuyahoga County; and <br />WHEREAS, Mayor Kirsten Holzheimer-Gail, is currently the Mayor of the City of Euclid <br />in Cuyahoga County and currently serves as the President of Chagrin Valley Dispatch, and based <br />on her service as Mayor and President of Chagrin Valley Dispatch she is familiar with the issues <br />that the Cuyahoga County 9-1-1 Program Review Committee will review, address, and implement; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to select Mayor Holzheimer-Gail to serve on the <br />Cuyahoga County 9-1-1 Program Review Committee. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Council hereby selects Mayor Kirsten Holzheimer-Gail, the Mayor of <br />the City of Euclid in Cuyahoga County, to serve on the Cuyahoga County 9-1-1 Program Review <br />Committee as the representative of all chief executive officers of all municipal corporations within <br />Cuyahoga County. The selection of Mayor Holzheimer-Gail shall be effective upon the effective <br />date of this Resolution. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council, and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place <br />in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />
