J RESOLUTION NO. 2024-35 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYFIELD VILLAGE TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH INTEGRITY CLEANING GROUP LLC FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR THE MAYFIELD VILLAGE CIVIC CENTER AND COMMUNITY ROOM WHEREAS, based upon recommendation, it has been deemed in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of all Village residents and inhabitants to engage a professional company in order to provide cleaning services for the Mayfield Village Civic Center and Community Room, and WHEREAS, the Janitorial Services Agreements with the cleaning company previously serving the Civic Center and Community Room will terminate on June 30, 2024; and WHEREAS, six local cleaning companies were contacted and invited to submit proposals for cleaning both the Civic Center and the Community Room, all of whom responded with proposals; and WHEREAS, the Service Department and the Mayfield Village Administration have reviewed the proposals and recommend that Council approve and accept the proposal of Integrity Cleaning Group LLC in the amount of $1,727.92 per month ($20,735.04 annually) to clean the Civic Center and $1,889.11 per month ($22,669.32 annually) to clean the Community Room. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Council of Mayfield Village hereby accepts and approves the proposal of Integrity Cleaning Group LLC in the amount of $1,717.92 per month to clean the Civic Center and $1,889.11 per month to clean the Community Room. SECTION 2. The Council of Mayfield Village does hereby direct the Mayor and President of Council to enter into separate agreements with Integrity Cleaning Group LLC for janitorial services for the Mayfield Village Civic Center and Community Room, attached hereto as Exhibits A and B. SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meeting of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
