RESOLUTION NO. 2024-42 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING MAYFIELD VILLAGE TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL OF <br />PAT FLOWERS, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $44,519.98 FOR THE <br />2024 STREET STRIPING PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, based upon the recommendation of the Mayfield Village Engineer, it has been <br />deemed in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of all Village residents and inhabitants <br />to undertake the 2024 Street Striping Program in the Village; and <br />WHEREAS, proposals for the 2024 Street Striping Program were solicited by the Mayfield <br />Village Engineer; and <br />(W WHEREAS, two (2) proposals were received; and <br />WHEREAS, as noted in attached Exhibit A, the proposal of Pat Flowers, Inc. was the <br />lowest and best proposal received; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was in the amount of $44,519.98; and <br />WHEREAS, the Village Engineer recommends that the Mayfield Village Council approve <br />and accept the aforementioned proposal for said project. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Council of Mayfield Village hereby accepts and approves the proposal <br />of Pat Flowers, Inc. in the amount of $44,519.98 for the 2024 Street Striping Program in Mayfield <br />Village. <br />SECTION 2. The Council of Mayfield Village does hereby direct the Mayor and <br />President of Council to enter into contract with Pat Flowers, Inc. for the 2024 Street Striping <br />Program in the Village. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />4W that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place <br />
