Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, October 21, 2024 <br />Page 6 <br />At this point in time, Council will take a short break for refreshments. <br />Council took a break at 7:24 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 7:42 p.m. <br />Open Portion — For Public Comment (5-minute limit imposed by Chair) <br />Council President Schutt stated, if anyone wishes to speak, please come up to the podium and state <br />your name and address for the record. <br />There were none. <br />Department Head Reports: <br />Diane Wolgamuth (Administration) — Thank you Council President. Reporting for Citizen's <br />Advisory, the Committee is meeting on Monday, October 28th at the Historical House. On the <br />agenda is the Historical Society update from Joan Gottschling, a conversation with Meghan Perez <br />from the Mayfield Schools Levy Committee, and a presentation on mail theft, check washing and <br />fraud awareness from our own Council Clerk Mary Betsa. It should be an interesting meeting. <br />That's next Monday. <br />Council President Schutt stated, thank you. Any questions? <br />There were none. <br />Council President Schutt stated, thank you, Ms. Wolgamuth. <br />Dan Russell (Building) — Thank you Council President. I will be reporting on two meetings. The <br />first meeting was the September 261h ARB meeting. We received one proposal for an addition. <br />That was approved. The second meeting was also ARB on October I Oth. We received a proposal <br />for an addition to a deck and that was also approved. <br />Council President Schutt asked, any questions? <br />There were none. <br />Council President Schutt stated, thank you, Mr. Russell. <br />Shane McAvinew (Parks and Recreation) — Thank you Council President. I want to thank <br />everybody once again for the Trick or Treat Trail. It was a great success. It was nice to see families <br />out there having a good time. It was well attended. I appreciate all of the help from all of the <br />volunteers, the Service Department, Police Department and Fire Department. They always help <br />
