SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village Civic Hall — Mayfield Village Civic Center <br />Monday, December 2, 2024 — following Council Caucus <br />Council President Schutt stated, welcome to the Special Meeting of Council. It is Monday, <br />December 2, 2024 at 7:31 p.m. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Arndt, Mrs. Jurcisek, Mr. Marquardt, Mr. Meyers, <br />Mr. Murphy, Mr. Schutt and Mr. Williams <br />Also Present: Mayor Bodnar, Ms. Rich, Ms. Calta, Lieutenant Brothers, <br />Chief Matias, Mr. Cappello, Mr. Marquart, Mr. McAvinew, <br />Mr. Stupczy, Ms. Wolgamuth and Ms. Garbo <br />Council President Schutt stated, thank you Ms. Garbo. As mentioned earlier, Mr. Russell is excused <br />from this evenings meeting, Lieutenant Brothers is in attendance on behalf of Chief Carcioppolo <br />for the Fire Department and Ms. Garbo is in attendance for Ms. Betsa this evening. <br />• Pledge of Allegiance <br />Council President asked everyone to please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />• Executive Session <br />- Motion to enter into Executive Session pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section <br />121.22(G)(2) to consider the potential sale or purchase of real estate and pursuant <br />to Ohio Revised Code 121.22 (G)(3) to consider pending or imminent court action. <br />Mrs. Jurcisek, seconded by Mr. Meyers made a motion to enter into Executive Session pursuant to <br />Ohio Revised Code Section 121.22(G)(2) to consider the potential sale or purchase of real estate <br />and pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 121.22 (G)(3) to consider pending or imminent court action. <br />Council President Schutt stated, Council will be going into Executive Session. When we <br />reconvene, we will have no further matters to vote on. I would like to invite the following <br />individuals into Executive Session; Ms. Calta, Ms. Rich, Ms. Wolgamuth, Mr. Stupczy, Mr. <br />Marquart and Ms. Garbo. <br />ROLL CALL: Ayes: All Motion Carried <br />Nays: None <br />Council President Schutt stated, we will enter into Executive Session now with the folks that I <br />asked to attend. Everybody else, you are free to leave. When we reconvene, there will be no other <br />matters that we'll be voting on. <br />
