Minutes of the Special Meeting of Council <br />Wednesday, December 11, 2024 <br />Page 2 <br />Council went into Executive Session at 6:03 pm. <br />Council came out of Executive Session at 8:13 p.m. <br />Motion to reconvene into Regular Session of Council. <br />Mr. Williams, seconded by Mrs. Jurcisek, made a motion to reconvene into Regular Session of <br />Council. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None <br />Council President Schutt stated, Council interviewed five candidates to backfill the open Ward 4 <br />Council vacancy. All five were very strong and very qualified. Council will now go around the <br />table to discuss. <br />Councilman Arndt stated, I appreciate everyone coming in. I was pleased to meet everyone <br />interested in becoming a Council member for Ward 4. Peter Gall really rose to the top with his <br />connection to the community. <br />Councilman Meyers stated, all five candidates were qualified. The one candidate who has <br />participated in many Village functions is Peter Gall. I think he is the most qualified candidate for <br />the position. <br />Councilwoman Jurcisek stated, I appreciate all five candidates coming in and sharing their <br />thoughts and concerns about the Village. Of the five, Mr. Gall rose to the top. <br />Councilman Schutt stated, I appreciate all five candidates coming out. They were all qualified <br />candidates and brought a wealth of knowledge and experience. I agree with the other Council <br />members that Peter Gall rose to the top. <br />Councilman Williams stated, I am pleased that we had multiple representatives from the Ward <br />who wanted to serve. They were all great candidates. Mr. Gall did do an excellent job. <br />Councilman Marquardt stated, I appreciate all of the candidates who came this evening. I agree <br />that Peter Gall is the best candidate. <br />Council President Schutt stated, I will reach out to all five candidates ahead of the Regular Meeting <br />of Council. <br />
