MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO <br />Monday, September 9, 2024 — 7:00 p.m. <br />Immediately Following Caucus <br />Mayfield Village Civic Hall -Mayfield Village Civic Center <br />6622 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Monday, September 9, 2024 at <br />Mayfield Village Civic Hall immediately following Caucus. Council President Schutt called the <br />meeting to order at 7:37 p.m. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Arndt, Mr. Marquardt, Mr. Meyers, <br />Mr. Murphy, Mr. Schutt and Mr. Williams <br />Also Present: Mayor Bodnar, Ms. Rich, Ms. Calta, <br />Mr. Cappello, Chief Carcioppolo, <br />Mr. Russell, Mr. McAvinew, Mr. Sipos, Mr. Marquart, <br />Ms. Wolgamuth and Mrs. Betsa <br />Absent: Mrs. Jurcisek and Chief Matias <br />Council President Schutt stated, please let the record reflect that Chief Matias and Councilwoman <br />Jurcisek are both excused from this evening's meeting. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the flag was given. <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 2024-46, entitled, "An emergency resolution authorizing <br />the Mayor to seek financial assistance from the State Issue 1 Infrastructure Bond Program <br />for funding of Beta Drive Rehabilitation Project." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar (Economic <br />Development/Engineer) (Requires suspension of the rules tonight and upon passage this <br />legislation will take effect immediately upon signature of the Mayor.) <br />Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mr. Arndt, made a motion to suspend the Rules of Council requiring an <br />Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Ordinance Suspended <br />Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mr. Arndt, made a motion to enact Resolution No. 2024-46. <br />Council President Schutt asked, any discussion? <br />
