Resolution No, 474-A By rira Wedler A RESOLUTION REQUESTING AND AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF COUiVTY COrR,SISSIONERS OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO TO PREPARE PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, ESTDiATES OF COST FOR SANITARY SEWERS AIQD FACI'LITTES IN THE i71LLAGE OF NIAYFIE-LD, OHIO.. SJHEREAS, a large portion of the territory in this Village is without sanitary sexaerage facilities; and WHIIZEAS, the growth of the community requires that steps be taken to remedy the situation; and . • WHEREAS, neighboring communities have the same problem,to be best solved through cooperative action; and WHEREAS, the County of Cuyahoga can best handle the sanitary sewerage problems of the entire area; NOW TFLREFORE BE IT .P.ESOLVED BY THE COUNCIZ OF THE VILZAGE OF rIlaYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIOv Sec. 1. That the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County Ohio be, and it is, hereby authorized and requested to proceed at the county's expense, with the preparation of plans, specifications, estimates of cost and tentative assessments for such sewerage treatment plant, intercepting, trunk, main and/or local sewers and other sanitary f acilities as the Board may f ind necessary to serve this areae Sec. 2. That the C1erk of the Village be, and he is, authorized and directed to forward certif ied copies hereof to the Board of County Commissioners and to the County Sanitary Engineer. Sec. 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welf are because of the necessity for providing necessary sanitary facilities to the inhabitants of a large portion of this Village.
