RESOZUTION No. 489 <br />By Nir. Wedler <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING TEiE COUNTY AUDITOR TO <br />ADVANCF, THE SUM OF $10, OOOe 00 T0. THE VI-LiAGE <br />OF MAYFIELD OUT OF CURRENT TAx. COLIFsCTIONS <br />GIHEREAS, the balance in the General Fund of the Village of Mayf ield has <br />declined to the point where it will be impossible to meet the Village payroll <br />and to pay its bills for the month of March, 1961; and <br />WHEREAS, sufficient funds have been collected by the County of Cuyahoga <br />' from the taxpayers of the Village of Mayfield to cover much more than is required <br />to meet the March pwyroll and pay the March expenses; and <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk of the Village of Mayfield estimates that the sum of <br />at least $10,000.00 is needed fron current tax collections to pag current expenses. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE TT RESO-LVED BY THE COUNCII. OF THE VII.-LAGE OF IvlAYFTE-LD, CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTX OHIO, THAT: - <br />Sec. 1. The County Auditor of Cuyahoga County is hereby requested to <br />advance to the Village of Mayf ield out of current tax collections the sum of <br />at least $10,000.00 to be used for general fund purposes. <br />Sec. 2, The Clerk is hereby authorized to f ile a certif ied copy of <br />this Resolution with the County Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />Sec. 3. This Resolution is hereby deemed to be emergency measure necessary <br />for the immediate preservation of the public peace, heaith, sa£ety and welfare <br />of the Village of YJiayfield and its inhabitants in order that tlie Village may <br />pay its obligations and keep its credit good, and this Resolution shall be in <br />force and efr"ect immediately upon the date of its adoption. <br />Adopted this 20th day of February, 19610 <br />A{.1.e$ts <br />Mayor - President of Council <br />il <br />k <br />? <br />(S )
