RESOLUTION Noe 503 <br />By Mrs,, Broxan <br />AN ENIERGENCY RESO'LUTTON APFROV.LNG SPECTFICATIONS A1VD <br />PLAT FOR FU.RNISHING ELECTRIC STI2EET LIGHTING SERVICE <br />IN THE VIZItAGE AND DIRECTING THE CZERK OF THE VILZAGE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR_FURNISHING SUCH SERVICE <br />WHEREAS, speci£ications and 1,amp Zocation Plat £or an electric street <br />lighting system in the Village have been prapared and are on file in the ofiice <br />of the Clerk of the Village; and <br />W?HEREaS, public safe-Ey ancl welfare require the lighting of the streets <br />of the Village as therein provided; and <br />WHEREAS, such lighting should be proeured by contract. <br />' NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESO-LVED BY THE COUNCTI OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD? <br />• CUYAHOGA COUNTY STATE OF OIiiO, THATs. . <br />Sece 1, That said Speei£icata.ons and Zamp Zocation Plat on fzle in <br />the office of the,Clerk of the Village, f or furnishing electric street <br />lighting service in the Village be, and the same are9 hereby approved. <br />Sec. 2, That the Clerk of the Village be authorized and directed to <br />advericise once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general <br />circulation within the Village for bads f or furnishing electrie street <br />lighting service in accordance with said Speci£ications and Zamp Location Plat. <br />Sece 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure in that it is necessary £or the immediate preservation of the public <br />peace, healfih and safety of the Village for the reason that sueh electric <br />street lighting is essential f or the protection of. pedestrian and vehicular <br />traffie within this municipality, and, provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all of the members elected to Council8 it sha11 talce <br />effect and be in force from and aFter its passage; otherwise it sha11 talce <br />efEect and be in £orce f rom and after the earliest period allowed by law, <br />Passed Ju1y 17, 1961, <br />Attest; <br />D ? <br />?
