ORDINANCE N0. 82-43 (As Amended) INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Robert G. Beebe AN ORDINANCE CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF THE FINANCE DIR.ECTOR; ESTABLISHING TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND COMPENSATION FOR SUCH SERVICES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: Section l. The appointment of Steven Toth as Finance Director for Mayfield Village until December 31, 1982 is hereby confirmed. Section 2. As Finance Director of Mayfield Village, Ohio, Steven Toth sha 1 be the head of the Finance Department and shall be responsible for all fiscal matters concerning the municipality. He shall furthermore perform all duties specified by the Charter of Mayfield Village, Ohio, with regard to the Finance Director and furthermore shall perform all duties specified by the statutes of the State of Ohio in that same regard. Section 3. As Finance Director Steveri Toth.shall be required to spend the equivalent of two (2) full days per week in the office of the municipal Finance Department to perform the duties imposed upon him by this Ordinance, the Charter and the statutes of the State of Ohio. He sha11 furthermore be required to attend all regular meetings of Council and such other special meetings of Council when specifically requested to so atterid. He shall further- more be required to atterid all meetings of the Finance Committee unless excused by the Chairman of that Committee. Section 4. As Finance Director Steveri Toth sha11 be compensat- the amount of Two Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($2,200.00) from July 1, 1982 to December 31, 1982, to be paid inequal monthly payments on the first day of each month. Section 5. The contractual arrangement between the municipality and the Finance Director established here'in shall commence July l, 1982 and shall remain in force and effect through December 31, 1982, subject only to the Charter provision concerning the term of the office of Finance Director. Section 6. That the Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at operi meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requiremerits, including the requiremerits of Section 121e22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
