RESOLUTION NO. 81-3 <br />INTRODUCED BY: H ayor & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />AUDTTOR TO ADVANCE TAXES FROM THE PROCEEDS <br />OF TAX LEVIES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Section 321.34 of the Ohio Revised Code provides <br />that money in a County Treasury to the account of a local authority <br />and lawfully applicable to the purpose of the current fiscal year, <br />may be withdrawn by a municipality upon proper request, and <br />WHEREAS, the Council has found and determined ..that sound <br />fiscal policy requires that such withdrawal be requested from the <br />Cuyahoga County Auditor; Now, Therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. That the Cuyahoga County Auditor be and is <br />hereby requested to draw warrants and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga <br />County be and is hereby requested to pay to the Village of Mayfield <br />all monies presently being held in the Cuyahoga County Treasury to <br />the account of the Village of Mayfield, lawfully applicable to the <br />purpose of the present fiscal year. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk be and is hereby authorized <br />and directed immediately to forward a copy of this Resolution to <br />the Cuyahoga County Auditor and the Cuyahoga County Treasurer. <br />Section 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village'in that <br />the monies requested herein are necessary to maintain essential <br />governmental services. Tt shall therefore take effect immediately <br />upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members <br />elected to Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise at the <br />earliest time allowed by law. <br />Alan G.
