ORDINANCE N0. 81-34 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Council as a WholP:~ <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 3 OF <br />ORDINANCE N0. 81-26 TO ELIMINATE THE PROVI- <br />SION THAT THE NOTES ISSUABLE PURSUANT TO SAID <br />ORDINANCE N0. 81-26 IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCI- <br />PAL AMOUNT OF SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS <br />($600,000.00) IN ANTICIPATION OF THE ISSUANCE <br />OF BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUNDS <br />FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SERVICE BUILDING <br />AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS THEREFOR SHALL BE <br />REDEEMABLE AT THE OPTION OF THE VILLAGE PRIOR <br />TO MATURITY. <br />Whereas, pursuant to Ordinance No. 81-26, passed by the Council <br />of the Village of Mayfield Village (the "Council") on June 1, 1981, <br />notes (the "19$1 Notes") in the aggregate principal amount of Six Hundred <br />Thousand Dollars ($600,000.00), are to be issued for the purposes therein <br />stated; and <br />Whereas, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety of <br />the Village of Mayfield Village (the "Village") and its inhabitants in <br />that the immediate issuance and sale of the 1981 Notes is necessary to <br />enable the Village to pay and retire its note in the principal amount of <br />Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($600,000), dated July 24, 1980 and maturing <br />on July 23, 1981; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 81-26 be and <br />hereby is amended to delete the phrase "shall be redeemable at the <br />option of the Village prior to maturity at par plus accrued interest to <br />
