SLICE DEPAP~TT~~F~1TT <br />BE IT: ORDAINED BY TI'S COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE, OF -MA l+IELD, CUYAHOGA" <br />COUNTY, OHIO, TVdO-THIRDS OF ALL 114~liBEIZS ELECTED THERETO CONCURRII~TG, THAT; <br />Sec. 1. The follovt~ng described personal property belonging <br />to the Village of~ayfield will not be Headed for any Municipal purpose, <br />if a new police automobile is purchased, to-~srrit: <br />A used Black 1942 Plymouth Special Tudor <br />Sedaxi Automobile now used by the Police <br />Department. <br />Sec. 2~ The Clerk is hereby authorized to advertise for bids <br />for the purchase of ~~e above mentioned property, such advertisemorit <br />to be made once a week for not less than two w®eks or more than five <br />weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the Village. Council <br />is authorized to sell said property to •bhe person .submitting the <br />highest bid, with the right to reject az~y and all bids, and #the Niayor <br />and ,Clerk are authorized to execute any instruments necessary to transfer <br />title thereto. <br />' Sec. 3.. Tha~s Ordinance is deemed to be an~emergency measure, <br />necessary for the preservation of the heal'th,,safety and welfare of <br />the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order 'to raise funds - <br />in order to purchase a new police automobile, which is needed for the <br />proper -operation of the police department, and •bh9.s ordinance shall go <br />into iinniediate effect upon its passage. <br />Passed this 15th day of November, 1948, <br />Mayor./- resident of Council <br />Attest: <br /> <br /> <br /> n <br />SE Cl k . <br />
