Sloan <br />AEI ORDINANCE TO PROS2BIT MOTORISTS FROMi PASSING <br />A STAPTDING SCHOOL BITS, .AND PROVIDING A PENALTY <br />FOR VIOLATION. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUPdCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOG.A <br />COUNTY, OHIO, TWO-THIRDS OF. AS,L MI3128ERS ELECTED TI~tETO .CONCURRING, THAT; <br />Sea, 1. The driver of a vehicle, whets approaching the front <br />os• rear oi° a sohool bus that has come to a stop upon a highway within <br />the limits of the Village of Hayfield, Ohio, which bus is in the act of <br />receiving or discharging any school child, shall stop said vehicle not <br />less than 10 feet from such school bus and shall keep suah vehicle <br />stationery until such child has entered said bus or has alighted and <br />reached the side of such higknvay.. <br />Sec. 2® No school bus driver shall start his bus until after <br />any child who has alighted therefrom has reached a place of safety. <br />Sec. 3. Whoever shall violate az~y provision of this ordinance <br />shall, on conviction thereof, be fined not less than v~5.00 and not more <br />than X200,00, or imprisorie.d.-`, for not more than six months, or both. <br />Sec® d-.
