Cass <br />AN ORDINAti~TCE TO AUTHORIZE THE SALE OF THE <br />AUTOMOBILE NOL~I USED- BY . ^1HE • POLICE DEPARTII~NT <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUATCIL OF THE VILLL~GE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA <br />COUPTTY, OHIO, .THAT:. _ _ .. _ . _ _ <br />Sec. 1. The following described personal property <br />belonging to the Villag® of Mayfield will not be need®d for ary <br />Municipal purposes if a new police automobile is purchased, to-mgt: <br />1949 I~Ierct~.ry Tiro-Door Sedaxt Automobile* <br />SSec~2. The Clerk is hereby authorized to advertise <br />for bids for the purchase of the above mentioned property, such <br />advertisement to be made once a week for not less than 2 weeks in <br />a nev~rspaper of general circulation in the Village. Council is <br />; authorized to sell said property to the person submitting the <br />highest bid, with the right to reject any and all bids, and the <br />Mayor and Clark are authorized to e~.ecute any iustrtunents necessary <br />to transfer titlo thereto, <br />Sec. 3. This Ordinance is deemed to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and <br />v~relfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabi•cants, in order to <br />obtain funds with which to purchase a new police automobilos.which <br />is needed for the proper operation of the Police Department, and <br />this Ordinance shall go into ixmnediate effect upon its passage. <br />Passed this 19th day of September, 1949. <br />Mayor .'resident of C oLtncil <br />Attest: <br />SE11L C <br />
