ATE OF. OHIO,: _ _ _ ... <br />See. 1. That ,tis~~told M. Edelmazas Attorney at Law, be, and he is, <br />hereby employed to, act as to gal counsel for said Village and the officers <br />thereof in their official capacity, and as such to prosecute or defend all <br />actions, -b3* or against said Vi17.age, or any department or officer thereof. <br />Sec. 2. That he shall prepare and submit to the Council all <br />resolutions and ordinances of whatsoever character or nature necessary for <br />all public improve~sents and for the issuance of bonds and evex~,l purpose <br />authorized by law, and that he shall prepare all other resolutions and <br />ordinances as such are requested by this Council or any depari~nsnt of this <br />Villag®. <br />Sec~3, That he shall be appoi?~ted for a period of two (2) years <br />- - ending December 31st®. 1951, and shall receive as co~.pensation the. sum of <br />Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars 0750.00) per annum, payable in equal monthly <br />installments, which compensation shall cover all general.ser~ices ro:~derod <br />the said Village as such legal counsel, with the exception of the follotivingo <br />(a) That such legal counsel shall be paid the additional su~rn of <br />_ Fifty Dollars 050.00) per diem for ti:cne spent on behalf of <br />the said Village or at~y department or officer thereof in any <br />trial or proceeding before any court ( other than the T~ayor°s <br />Court) or before any other public Board or Comm~.ssion (other <br />than a Board or Commi$sio~a of said_ Village), and for time <br />spent in preparation far any such trial or_proeoeding; <br />(b) That such legal counsel shall be paid the additional sum of <br />One Hundred Fifty Dollars {150.00) for legal. sex-vices <br />performed i+n_connection with each improvement for which <br />special assessments are levied; <br />(c) That, as to note issues and bond issues not financed by the <br />_ levy of special assessments, such legal counsel shall be <br />paid the additional sum of Seventy-Five Dollars 075.00) for <br />legal services rendered in co•:anec~tion tivith each note issue <br />and the sum oi° Seer®nty-Five Dollars (~75~00) for legal services <br />rendered in connection vri.th each bond.issue_.of said Village, <br />such services to include the preparation of the necessary <br />legislation and the supervision of the preparation of trans- <br />cripts of the proceedings in connection thereti~rith. <br />
