<br />Secs 1. Section 22 of Ordinance Noe 86 entitled "Axt-brdinance

<br />the Village of ~Qayfield, Repealing Ordinance No• 10 Entit3ed tAu Ordir~anee
<br />Creating the Office of Inspector of .Buildings, Defining the Duties at~d
<br />PoNrers of such Inspectors end Regulating the Gonstrciotaon of .Buildings
<br />~Tithin the Village of Mayfieldt,. and Declaring a'n emergency",_ is hereby
<br />amended to read as foll~as:
<br />"Secs 22•~ PERMITS LIMITED. Any permit issued shall become
<br />invalid unless tYie worL~, autliorized by it shall have bean
<br />commenced within six months after its issuance, or if said
<br />work is not completed within twelve months after the date
<br />of issuance of said permit; provided that, for good cause
<br />shovan, one or more extensions of time, for periods not
<br />exceeding 90 days cache for the commencement or completion
<br />of such work may be allowed in writing by the BuildS.ng
<br />Inspector in his discretions .After a permit becomes
<br />invalid, under the terms of this section, the work sYia].1
<br />not b® e~unenced again until a xiew permit has been obtained
<br />by the owxaer or his agent or architect and a fee paid for
<br />such new permite in accordance ~r~.th the schedulo of fees
<br />provided in Section 24 of this ordinance."
<br />Sec. 2• E~o.sting Seotion 22 of Ordinance No, 86 is hereby
<br />repealed as of .this date. _
<br />Sec. 3. This Ordinance is declared to be eta emergency measure,
<br />necessary for the in~.ediate protection of the health, safety and welfare
<br />of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants in order to insure proper
<br />compliance with the provisions of the Building Ordinances and shall go into
<br />effect itmnediately upon the date of it.s passage.
