Godfrey <br />AId ORDINANCE PROVIDII~TG FOR THE EXCHAI~TGE <br />OFF ~' EQUIPN~,I~TT A1VD FIRE1~iEN IN CASE OF <br />ET~iERGENCY WITH THE TOUlT1VSHIP OF .yVILZOLIGFiBY, <br />LAS COUNTY, OHIG <br />BE IT QRDATTTED BY THE COUNCIL OF TSE VILLAGE OF ialAYFIELD, CUYAT3QGA <br />COUNTY, OHIO: <br />Section 1. That the 11Tayor an,d Clerk of the Village of <br />2~1layfield are hereby authora.zed to enter into a contract on behalf <br />of said Village with the Township of Willoughby, Lake County, Ohio, <br />providing for the exchange of fire fighting equipment and firemen <br />in the event of emergency. Such contract sha11 define ttemergency" <br />to mean such a simultaneous existence of afire or fires in a <br />municipality or township within whose limits such fire or fires <br />exist that said municipality or township is unable to cope with the <br />same. Such contract shall not require any party thereto to leave <br />unprotected or in jeopardy its o~rra territory axid shall provide that <br />the party making such emergency run out of its own limits shall <br />bear all expenses, loss, or damage it~eurred thereby. Such contract <br />sliall:'be for a peri od of not exceeding throe (3) years but shall be <br />terminable upon thirty (30) days' ro~ritten notice. <br />Section 2.
